© Steph Bridge
British kitesurefer and BLUE Ambassador, Steph Bridge returned from the PKRA Course Racing competition at Mondial Duvent in Leucate, France with another clear first place. Steph, who won 10 out of the 16 races sailed over the six days of the competition was a force to be reckoned with and gave the competition no chance of stealing the podium position away from her.
The conditions at Modial Duvent were generally windy with a cold offshore mountain wind. which at times reached 40 knots. Time on the water practicing on her new Race board, proudly sporting the BLUE Climate and Oceans Project logo, helped Steph to say ahead of her Spanish rivals. Although Steph was generally finishing in the top 4 men's fleet, she still feels that there is room for some improvement.
Over the next few weeks, Steph will be back training on The River Exe, to maintain her fitness level before the next kite surfing event in San Francisco in June. Steph's next PKRA event is in July in Portinao, Portugal followed by Fuertaventura in late July and then Germany in August.
