I met Eric while teaching sailing with Minorca Sailing Holidays when I was age 17! We both share this huge passion to be on the water and in the waves and we feel we are extremely fortunate to have so much in common. Our 3 boys, Oliver age 9, Guy age 7 and Tom age 6, all participate in the same watersports that we do.
We live on the River Exe in Exmouth and I have been bought up here. My Father is a well known dinghy sailor and wooden boat builder specialist. Dad, 'Spud' Rowsell, was involved in business with Phil Morrison and together they designed and built , amongst many racing dinghies, the 40ft Formula 40's. As a child this was very exciting and meant that I had such great opportunity to be involved with dinghy sailing to a high level.
Up to the age of 16 years I helmed as an International Cadet (along with Conrad). I competed in three world championships and achieved 4th place overall. I have raced in a number of different classes including Larks, National 12's, Merlin Rockets and 420's.
All of my family is involved in the trade - my younger brother is a sail maker, older brother a boat builder and sister a nurse.
Other Interests and sports that I have taken to a high level include windsurfing, Skiing, swimming and for the last 6 years Kitesurfing. I keep fit with swimming through a club, sea training, running, biking and gym work. I enjoy anything outdoors and am lucky enough at the moment to be injury free.

Watersports Instructor & coach in Dinghy sailing, Catamaran & Kitesurfing. Currently run and manage Edge Watersports with husband, Eric where we are professional coaches, kite specialists and stockists of all watersports equipment. We also have a parent company, Spinnakers Sailing Centre which coaches dinghy sailing & Power boating.
