Conrad Humphreys
Triple round the world sailor and oceanographer Conrad Humphreys, has competed in many of the world's most demanding ocean races including finishing the legendary Vendée Globe. He founded the BLUE™ Project because of his passion for the oceans and he believes that all sportsmen and women who compete with the environment can inspire others to want to protect it.

Sara Campbell
Three times world record freediver, Sara Campbell won gold at the World Championships in her first competative season. Her aim for the 2008 season is to go deeper than ever before. Sara joined the BLUE™ Project as a sporting ambassador because she wanted to show people through the stunning imagery of her freediving the great beauty of our oceans.

Sam Davies
Vendée Globe 2008 qualifier, Sam Davies has already competed in some of the world's toughest sailing races including the La Solitaire Le Figaro and the Transat Jacques Vabre. She joined the Roxy Sailing Team in 2006 and following an excellent 2007 season, she is now preparing for the ultimate solo ocean sailing race. Sam hopes her participation in ocean sailing will help to encourage others to want to care about the environment.

Steph Bridge
World champion course racer and British kite surfing champion, Steph Bridge competes on the international circuit as well as running her own successful watersports centre based in Exmouth. Steph became involved with the BLUE™ Project to show people how the sport of kite surfing is one of the best environmentally friendly adrenaline filled water sports around.

Roz Savage
Solo Ocean rower, Roz Savage defied all the odds when she rowed across the Atlantic in 2005, an epic 103 day voyage. Roz is now planning to row across the Pacific Ocean from San Francisco to Hawaii with a departure planned for early Autumn 2008 - the aim of the voyage being to raise awareness of the growing problem of plastic debris polluting our world's oceans.

James Hooper
The youngest Britons to climb Mount Everest, James Hooper and Rob Gauntlett started a mammoth voyage in February 2008 to travel from the South Pole to the North Pole using only environmentally friendly modes of transport. As ambassadors for the BLUE™ Project, James and Rob have been helping to communicate environmental messages around the globe during their epic adventure.

Rob Gauntlett

Anne Quéméré
French ocean adventurer, Anne Quéméré has already rowed and kite surfed across the Atlantic three times. She now plans to kite surf across the Pacific Ocean from San Francisco to the French Polynesian Islands with a departure scheduled for this Autumn. By demonstrating travel powered by natural energy through wind and wave action, Anne aims to promote further development into renewable energy sources.

Dan Wakeham
European champion snowboarder, Dan Wakeham has already competed at many of the top international competitions including the Winter Olympics where he was the only British male to compete at his discipline. Dan has been fortunate to compete in some of the most beautiful locations around the world and hopes that through his sport, he can encourage others to think about the environment when going about daily life.

Ben Skinner
As the only surfer in the history of English competition to win the Junior and Open Longboard titles back to back, Ben Skinner is a hugely multi-talented surfer. Ben has already achieved podium places at International surfing competitions including the World Surfing Games where he achieved the first ever silver medal for Britain. BLUE will follow Ben's progress as he competes to raise awareness through his sport of the need to protect our climate and oceans.

Jose Luengo
World Champion Kite Surfer, Jose Luengo from Madrid, Spain already has a lengthy list of successes and titles having competed on the international circuit for nearly 10 years. Jose has learnt to respect the beauty and power of the ocean, and now aims to show others how they too can enjoy and protect our climate and oceans.

Stephen Hunt
Better known for his role as Matt Hancock in the television soap Neighbours, Australian, Stephen Hancock has always had a passion and talent for swimming. He swam for Australia as a junior and more recently he completed endurance swims across the English Channel and the Gibraltar Straits. Steve now has plans to swim the stretch of water between New Zealand's, North and South Islands, followed by the Bass Strait.
