Daniel Fox, originally from Quebec, Canada, is a notable up-and-coming photographer, who specialises in capturing stunning images of the great outdoors and the wildlife that lives in it.
Daniel’s lifelong passion for adventure and nature, and his commitment to inspire change and improve lives have led him to create The Wild Image Project, which aims to motivate others to alter their perspective on global issues by aesthetically presenting information and ideas that stimlate engagement, involvement and transformation.
In 2009, Daniel was named North American Champion by Aquapac. He is also a Planet Explore Visionary (The North Face non-for-profit initiative that promotes the outdoors), a Kokatat Ambassador and a Wend magazine Ambassador.
Daniel has been a member of the Explorers Club in New York and the Royal Geographical Society in London since 2010 and in 2011, he joined Education Through Expeditions as an Ambassador.
When Daniel is not exploring, he is working on conservation issues through his initiative called “Extreme & Polar Islands Conservation”.
He is also in the process of preparing a 6-year around the world sailing expedition, which will circumnavigate Antarctica, the Arctic, and cross the Pacific and the Atlantic from their lowest point to their highest point. It will visit over 60 groups of islands, 16 countries, crossing 4 oceans, navigating 13 different ocean currents and passing through 6 geographical zones.
